Candidate must be citizen of India

The age limit for both male and female candidates is thirty years, with a five-year relaxation for government employees in compliance with central government directives.

Essential

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or institute in library science or       library and information science.

Experience

2 years professional experience in a library under the central government or state government or autonomous or statutory organisation or public sector undertaking for city or recognised research or educational institution.

Note:

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Selection Test. Their admission at all the stages of examination will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

If, on verification, at any time before or after the Selection Test, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the Department.

The minimum requirement for the applicants are as follow :

Only online submission of the application is required of the candidates. There will be no acceptance of any other application submission method. Online application submission will be available on the BSF website at https://rectt.bsf.gov.in starting on May 19, 2024, at 00:01 AM, and closing on June 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The online application submission procedure is included with this advertising in Annexure – ‘A’.

Candidates to pay Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) only as examination fee plus Rs 47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC) through

following payment modes:-

(i) Net banking of any bank.

(ii) Credit/Debit Card of any bank.

(iii) Nearest authorised Common Service Centre

NOTE :-

(i) Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel are exempted from payment of examination fee.

(ii) Payment of examination will be accepted only through Online mode

(iii) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

(iv) In case of non-receipt of examination fee from the candidates of non-exempted categories, their form will not be accepted.
