Republic Day Speech-3

Dear Principal/Principal, All my teachers, My dear classmates, I wish you all a very happy Republic Day, First of all I thank my class teachers for giving me the opportunity to speak on Republic Day. You must know that this year the 75th Republic Day of India is being celebrated with great enthusiasm all over India. On this auspicious occasion I am going to tell you two words about Republic Day. So I begin the Republic Day speech.

‘Republic Day!’ The importance of this day is hidden in these words. After India’s independence, this is the most memorable day in the history of Mother India, Indians and the Indian Constitution.

On 15 August 1947, the tricolor flag of India was hoisted with pride and joy. Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru gave a speech from the Red Fort and the Drafting Committee headed by Dr. Babasaheb Abandekar drafted the Constitution of India in just two and a half years. Since then India was declared as a democratic republic. Friends, our Indian culture is the best and guiding culture in the world. Therefore, the democracy announced on 26th January is respected and revered

Democracy is deeply rooted in India, not only that the Rigveda refers to ‘democracy’ as ‘government based on popular opinion’. During this earlier period the prevailing system of government was monarchy. Yet these kings were elected by the people. All these kings were religious and ruled the kingdom according to religion. The British made their debut here in the 18th century. He ruled India for about one and a half hundred years, resulting in our present parliamentary system of government.

After the British rule, all the institutions were abolished due to the tireless work of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Ambedkar, Pandit Nehru, Maulana Azad, Dr. Sarojani Naidu and many leaders of the freedom movement were members of the constitution. Assembly. The Legislative Assembly began working for three years to draft the Constitution and on 26 November 1949, the Constitution of India was ratified. A new law came to our country. This law is a law made by the people, for the people! This system of government is federal.

The Constitution of India came into existence on 26 January 1950. That is why life is truly beautiful. Especially if we want to understand human life, there is a need to look into the history of the world, for that we should commemorate and commemorate it by celebrating Indian National Day, so that we don’t go back to migration or slavery, the new generation should take care of them and be ready to sacrifice everything for patriotism.

A.P.J to make India a developed nation. Abdul Kalam’s dream is to be fulfilled. Rather than asking what the country has done for me, we need to think about what we can do.

Today India is moving towards self-sufficiency. His credit goes to many Indian citizens, scientists, brave soldiers. For all these patriotic and hardworking Indians let us resolve today, “Let us all become true citizens of India by fulfilling all the duties of the Indian Constitution.”

Thank you all for sitting quietly and listening to my speech.
